Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian arrived in New York on Wednesday, where he is scheduled to deliver an address before the United Nations General Assembly. Iran's Islamic Republic Broadcasting published a video clip showing Pezeshkian as he disembarked from the plane, announcing his arrival at one of New York's airports. Earlier, the Iranian news agency IRNA quoted the Director General of Public Relations at the Presidential Office, Habibollah Abbasi, as saying that Pezeshkian's visit includes delivering a speech before the General Assembly and holding meetings and discussions with a number of heads of state and participating officials. The visit's agenda also includes a meeting with Iranian figures residing in the United States, and meetings with American figures and representatives of research centers, according to IRNA.
