Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian announced on Sunday that Iran is facing financial pressures resulting from the war. Pezeshkian pointed out that "criticizing the government's performance is simple in theory, but entails immense complexities in practical application, especially under the current critical circumstances." He stressed that despite the debts and problems inherited from the past, the restrictions imposed on oil exports, and the financial burdens resulting from the war, the government has succeeded in fulfilling its commitments and controlling expenditures.
