The Syndicate of Student Transport Drivers in Lebanon warned of the continued rise in fuel prices and transport costs with the start of the school and university year, considering that the absence of a solution exacerbates the burdens on students, parents, and drivers. The syndicate demanded that the Ministry of Energy and the concerned government authorities take urgent measures to reduce the cost of fuel and transport, stressing that drivers cannot bear further losses, while families are unable to bear new increases in transport allowances.
