The "Amal" movement denied what was published by "Nidaa Al-Watan" newspaper about the existence of currents and tendencies within the movement, linking them to leadership names. The movement said in a statement that what the newspaper published “is not journalistic news, but rather exposed political wishes that it is working to build on,” stressing that its positions and relations with various forces and parties are determined by its leadership institutions, “not the imagination of the newspaper’s editors, nor its suspicious sources with open goals.” She stressed that using the name of one of the movement's leaders using alphabetical letters in this context is "a baseless claim and a cheap attempt to invent divisions that only exist in the imagination of the writer and his sources." She stressed that the intended leader "is the one who is most keen and closest to expressing the central position of the movement and its leader on various issues."
