Sources concerned with the direct negotiations file revealed that “the idea of holding a new round of negotiations between Lebanon and Israel next September has been under discussion among those concerned recently, but so far there are no indications about it being held in the foreseeable future.”
The sources pointed out that the United States of America is pushing for a new round of negotiations, and Lebanon has previously confirmed this path through its official levels, leading to the implementation of the framework formula signed with Israel, but the negatives and obstacles that Israel creates in the way of moving to new experimental areas do not encourage optimism and expectations of positives.
