The President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, received the Chairman of the Military Coordination Group for Lebanon (MCG4L), General Joseph Clearfield, in the presence of the American Ambassador to Lebanon, Michel Issa, and a number of General Clearfield’s aides. During the meeting, the procedures for implementing the framework agreement reached as a result of the Lebanese-American-Israeli negotiations in Washington were discussed, in light of the talks held by General Clearfield in Israel last week.
