Yesterday, Thursday, US President Donald Trump signed a new executive order targeting what is known as “birth tourism.” Speaking to reporters, he said, "Some people enter the United States on tourist visas, while their real goal is to have children on American soil in order to obtain citizenship." Trump stressed that “his administration is making amendments to the decision, considering it unfair,” noting that the Supreme Court’s decision, which in late June invalidated his previous efforts to restrict this right, is “extremely regrettable.”
