Salam chairs a meeting to follow up on recovery efforts in the south

This afternoon, Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam chaired a meeting of the follow-up committee for the action plan drawn up by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Tarek Mitri, Minister of Finance Mr. Yassin Jaber, Minister of Justice Mr. Adel Nassar, Minister of Interior and Municipalities Brigadier General Ahmed Al-Hajjar, Governor of the Bank of Lebanon Mr. Karim Saeed, and Head of the Special Investigation Commission Mr. Abdel Hafeez Mansour. The meeting was also attended by the Public Prosecutor of Cassation, Judge Ahmed Rami Al-Hajj.
During the meeting, the progress made in implementing the requirements of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) with the aim of exiting the gray list was reviewed, as the procedures that have been completed so far and the next phases that must be met within the agreed-upon action plan were reviewed.
