A representative of the National News Agency reported that the Cassation Public Prosecutor, Judge Ahmed Rami Al-Hajj, ordered the transfer of the former Governor of the Bank of Lebanon, Riad Salama, from Bahnes Hospital to the Information Division building in Roumieh Prison, where he was admitted to the prison and became among the detainees there. Salama will remain the subject of medical follow-up, and if his condition requires receiving medical treatment or transferring him to hospital, appropriate legal and medical action will be taken when necessary, according to what is decided by the competent judicial and security authorities.
