President of the Republic Joseph Aoun returned from Ankara after talks with President Erdogan that covered the general situation in Lebanon and the region, bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries in various fields: The talks between the two presidents touched on Turkish aid in several areas, including army training, equipment and supplies, in addition to prefabricated homes to facilitate the return of the displaced, and Turkish interest in the fields of electricity, oil, infrastructure, and air transport. They also discussed activating the free trade agreement, the work of joint committees, and Turkish coordination to involve Lebanon in joint projects in railways and ports. ‏ In conclusion, President Aoun extended an invitation to President Erdogan to visit Lebanon, thanking him and promising to fulfill it. ‏
