President Joseph Aoun received at Baabda Palace today, Tuesday, the Apostolic Ambassador to Lebanon, Monsignor Paolo Borgia, and presented with him the results of his visit to the United States and the conversations he held with President Donald Trump. During the meeting, the discussion discussed the situation in the south in light of the continued Israeli attacks, bombings and destruction, in addition to the conditions of the people steadfast in the southern border villages and their urgent needs. For his part, the papal ambassador affirmed the Holy Father’s interest in Lebanon and his continued work to achieve security and stability there.
