The General Directorate of State Security announced that some media outlets and social media platforms are circulating information and pictures related to the use of civil registration plates belonging to the General Directorate of State Security by unknown persons. The Directorate explained that these civilian numbers are assigned to this General Directorate, but the metal plates on the car shown in the picture are forged and do not belong to any of its operating mechanisms, and that the competent authorities immediately initiated a comprehensive investigation under the supervision of the military judiciary to determine how they were used, and to reveal the identity of those involved, in order to take the necessary legal and judicial measures against them.
