The National Center for Geophysics of the National Council for Scientific Research stated in a statement that, “At 7:49 local time this morning, Saturday, July 4, 2026, an earthquake with a magnitude of 2.7 on the Richter scale was recorded, and its location was located in the Younine-Baalbek region.”
