The President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, made a phone call this evening with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in which he congratulated him on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr, wishing that God would bring him back to the United Arab Emirates as president, leadership and people with goodness, Yemen and blessings. During the call, President Aoun denounced the attacks against the UAE, affirming the solidarity of the Lebanese people with the brotherly Emirati people, and condemning the involvement of party parties in a sabotage plan that the UAE announced its thwarting today. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed thanked President Aoun for his stance in support of the UAE and its people, calling for an end to the Israeli attacks on Lebanon and an end to the suffering of the brotherly Lebanese people.
