US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced on Thursday that the United States stands with the Venezuelan people after the two violent earthquakes that struck the country. Rubio indicated, in a post on the “X” platform, that the State Department would send search and rescue teams, medical resources, and humanitarian aid to Venezuela.
