US President Donald Trump confirmed that the situation in Lebanon is moving towards improvement, expressing his optimism about the course of developments in the country. Trump stressed that Iran "will never possess a nuclear weapon," stressing that International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors will be on the ground in Iran at the appropriate time. He said that the United States has placed Iran before a reality unprecedented in 47 years, adding that if he had confirmed the truth of what was reported about not allowing International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors to enter Iran, he would have canceled the meeting with it immediately. He pointed out that work is continuing to reach an agreement that he described as “wonderful,” considering that Tehran is no longer in a strong negotiating position after the developments witnessed in the last stage. He added that the issue of the arrival of International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors to Iran does not require urgency at the present time, stressing the continuation of efforts to reach understandings during the next stage.
