A municipality warns of a fatal danger: do not touch it

The municipality of Burj Rahal addressed in a statement to the people of the town and the neighborhood, saying: “Based on the security reports and warnings issued by the concerned authorities, all citizens are requested to take the utmost extreme caution and caution. It has been discovered that internationally banned cluster bombs camouflaged in the form of a ‘small play ball for children’ have spread in a number of southern villages and towns.”
It issued instructions and directives related to public safety:
Educate children immediately: We ask parents to alert and strictly educate their children not to touch or approach any strange object, especially colored spherical or metal objects resembling toys.
Avoid suspicious places: Completely stay away from fields, orchards, and open lands that have been bombed or that have not yet been surveyed and cleared.
Immediate reporting: If any suspicious object is found, it is strictly prohibited to move or kick it, and you must move away from it immediately and inform the municipality of Burj Rahal or the competent security services and the Lebanese army immediately.
She pointed out that "these treacherous munitions are designed to attract the attention of children, and tampering with them poses an inevitable danger to life."
