Swiss negotiations begin today and a special session will be held to discuss the Lebanese file

A new round of negotiations between the United States and Iran will begin today, Sunday, in the Swiss resort of Bürgenstock, with the start of bilateral and tripartite talks between the participating delegations in preparation for the first official session.
Iranian media reported that “the first official session will be held in the afternoon, followed by a session dedicated to discussing the Lebanese file.”
In the same context, the sources stated that “the opening session will begin at 11:30 GMT, and will be completed by parallel negotiating tracks.”
She also indicated that "the talks are taking place through bilateral and tripartite meetings between delegations at the resort, as part of preparing the atmosphere for the official session."
For its part, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry announced that its delegation “will hold bilateral meetings during the talks,” stressing “Islamabad’s commitment to dialogue and a balanced approach leading to the signing of the memorandum of understanding.”
She added, "This participation represents the first official communication with Pakistan since the signing of the memorandum of understanding," noting that "the delegation is in Switzerland to participate in talks related to the mechanisms for implementing the agreement."
