Media personality Ricardo Karam announced through a post on his social media accounts the death of Dalal Karam, ex-wife of the late artist Ziad Rahbani, after a struggle with lung cancer. Karam wrote, saying: “Ziyad Rahbani married once in his life, in 1979, to Dalal Karam, who was a member of the Lebanese popular troupe. He met her during performances of the play “Mays Al-Reem,” and from there began a story of great love, short in time, but it left its mark. Dalal participated with him in some of his works, and gave birth to one son, Assi.
