Today, Wednesday, Hezbollah extended its deepest condolences and congratulations to the Lord of the Age and Time, to the Guardian and Leader, Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei, to the leadership of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and to its great, steadfast and struggling people, on the martyrdom of the Secretary of the Islamic Revolution, its Republic, and its people, and the faithful preserver of the path of Imam Khomeini (may God bless his soul) and the line of the Imam, the martyred leader, Sayyed Ali Khamenei (may God be pleased with him), Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, Ali Larijani, who ascended to his Lord. A fasting and standing martyr, after a long journey of jihad and tireless work in what God pledged to do in the service of authentic Muhammadan Islam and the service of the blessed Qur’anic path, and in defending the Islamic Republic, its sovereignty and principles, and the issues of the Islamic nation, following a treacherous American-Israeli terrorist aggression that targeted him along with his son and a number of his companions. Today, the Islamic Republic of Iran is facing the barbaric American-Zionist aggression, and in light of the world conspiring against it, and is offering for the sake of this sacred defense great sacrifices and convoys of martyrs and great leaders. It is not only defending itself and its people, which is a legitimate right guaranteed by all international conventions, but it is also defending the dignity, pride and independence of the Islamic nation, the peoples of the region and all the free and honorable people in this world, and is confronting the deep imbalances that are plaguing them. The international system and protects what remains of justice and human values in a world in which the United States of America, along with the Zionist entity, has trampled all laws, customs and covenants, and with its steadfastness, steadfastness and historical resistance, it overthrows all the settlement, colonial and fragmentation plans and projects that the American-Zionist enemy is working to implement to subjugate the peoples of the region, plunder their wealth, and impose absolute hegemony over their present and future. We, in Hezbollah, condemn this cowardly assassination and the continuation of the criminal American-Israeli aggression. We affirm that the assassination of leaders will not break the will of the Islamic Republic, nor undermine the resolve of its leadership, people, and mujahideen. The Islamic Republic will remain the pillar of the project against American arrogance and Zionist expansion, no matter how great the sacrifices are.
