The American forces announced the death of one of its members as a result of wounds he sustained in an Iranian attack on Saudi Arabia, making him the seventh American soldier to be killed since the beginning of the war with the Islamic Republic. The US Central Command (Centcom) said in a statement, “An American soldier died last night as a result of his wounds he sustained during the first attacks launched by the Iranian regime across the Middle East,” adding that “he was seriously injured at the site of the attack that targeted American forces in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on March 1.”
