The Public Education Associations affirmed in a statement, “the importance of official examinations and their role in evaluating academic achievement and preserving the credibility of the official certificate,” reiterating “its commitment and keenness to conduct them,” considering that “human value is the highest, and that national unity is what is desired, and that we are one people who cannot be divided by numbers of division, and that education, like security, is indivisible, and educational justice is a constitutional rule, and in light of the security conditions that the country is going through and the challenges it imposes on various sectors, in particular Educational sector, formal education associations emphasize the following: "First: Its categorical refusal to endanger the security and safety of any professor, teacher, student, guardian, or anyone participating in official examinations. The war that the nation is experiencing imposes serious risks, extreme difficulties in movement, increasing psychological pressures, and the absence of equal educational opportunities and conditions among students. This file is being addressed far from bidding and through adherence to legal and institutional frameworks and the adoption of dialogue and cooperation. Accordingly, the Associations call on the Parliament and the Council of Ministers to assume their responsibilities and take the decision Which preserves national unity, and stipulates the cancellation of the official exams scheduled for June 29 for secondary schools and July 15 for vocational ones, and the adoption of a fair legal mechanism that takes into account the interests of students. Second: Adopting a simplified and flexible mechanism to evaluate ninth-grade students, and developing a clear and fair mechanism to evaluate closed secondary school students, in all grades and stages, in a way that prevents individual efforts and ensures unity of standards, in addition to extending the legal deadlines related to administrative work, first and foremost the issuance of results. Third: Calling on the Parliament to hold an urgent legislative session to approve the necessary law to disburse the due increase, represented by the six salaries, retroactively starting from the first of March 2026, provided that this jealousy over education is translated into the file of the rights of professors and teachers that have been stolen for years, as they are the basis of any educational work, and they are the true value of education and building society.
