The Fatwa House in the Lebanese Republic announced that the beginning of the new Hijri year of 1448 AH falls on Tuesday, the sixteenth of the current month of June 2026 AD. The Grand Mufti of the Republic, Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian, congratulated the Lebanese in general and Muslims in particular on the new Hijri Year, asking God Almighty to spread stability, security and peace in Lebanon and the region and to make it a year of goodness, prosperity and blessings.
