Minister of Education and Higher Education Rima Karami issued Circular No. 21/M/2026, an addendum to Circular No. 17/M/2026, regarding ensuring the continuity of education under exceptional circumstances. The Ministry stressed the need for private schools to provide a synchronous distance education program for students who are not attending, or explained lessons in accordance with approved standards to ensure the quality of academic achievement. It also stressed the re-evaluation of in-person education in schools near the aggression areas to ensure the safety of students. The Ministry explained the possibility of using free platforms such as Microsoft Teams, My School (madristi.mehe.gov.lb), and Ebooks to download official books and work on them without an Internet connection. The Ministry warned that measures would be taken against violating schools if they did not comply with what was stated in the circular.
