The young artist, Hossam Al-Silawi, announced his retirement from singing completely, revealing his desire to adhere to religious duties and devote himself to his family and himself. Al-Silawi revealed his decision in an audio message that his father published via the “Story” feature on the “Instagram” platform. The young artist explained that he is “committed to companies and documented contracts, and has a passion and love for art, and he has 18 works, which will be published in the form of two albums,” stressing that “the release of these two albums will be the last stop and the fulfillment of the promise made to his audience and the companies he contracted with.” Al-Silawi attributed his decision to stay away from the limelight and fame to his desire to arrange his life’s priorities, and to adhere to religious duties and rights towards his God, his family, and himself, noting the difficulty of balancing his personal and artistic life. The retired artist stressed that there are rights that have become more important to fulfill in his next stage, which are the rights of God, his family, his people, and himself, in addition to his desire to complete his treatment and care for his daughter. He also noted that he does not have another job at the present time after quitting singing, concluding his message by emphasizing his complete satisfaction by saying: “But whoever abandons a matter for God, God will compensate him with something better than it, and praise be to God, my Lord will replace me with something good.”
