The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Beirut announced, in a statement, that “Lebanese citizens, holders of regular passports, can now travel to Iran for tourism or religious visit purposes once every six months and stay there for 15 days without the need for a visa, starting from 3/1/1405, corresponding to May 22, 2026.” As for those wishing to travel for purposes other than tourism and religious visits, or those wishing to reside within the Islamic Republic of Iran for a period exceeding 15 days, as well as those who intend to enter Iranian territory more than once during a six-month period, they must obtain the necessary visa through one of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s missions abroad or from Iranian international airports.
