President Joseph Aoun confirmed before MP Michel Daher and a delegation from agricultural unions that the negotiating framework set by Lebanon includes Israeli withdrawal, a ceasefire, army deployment on the border, the return of the displaced, and economic or financial aid to Lebanon, stressing that any proposal outside this framework is incorrect. He continued that it is his duty and responsibility to strive by all means to stop the war in Lebanon at the lowest possible cost, stressing that Lebanon cannot bear the cost of wars. He added that farmers are the nation's wealth, calling for adherence to the land and passing on this belonging to generations. He concluded by stressing that he will continue to strive with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to open markets for Lebanese production and provide facilities to farmers in light of the difficult circumstances.
