A Pakistani source told Reuters that Islamabad sent a modified Iranian proposal to the United States with the aim of ending the war. Iranian media reported that Washington had received a Pakistani paper that included a plan aimed at “freezing the war” between the United States and Iran. She confirmed that the Pakistani paper includes 14 items, the most prominent of which are a gradual opening of the Strait of Hormuz and a multi-stage truce. She added that the plan includes "freezing" the Iranian nuclear program instead of dismantling it, in addition to freezing enrichment for a long period.
