An advisor to the Iranian leader, Ali Larijani, said on Sunday that he had received information indicating that “the rest of Jeffrey Epstein’s team” is planning a conspiracy aimed at carrying out an incident similar to the September 11 attacks and pinning responsibility on Iran. Larijani added, in a post on the “X” platform on Sunday, that Iran “strongly opposes such terrorist plans,” stressing that his country “is not at war with the American people.” He pointed out that Iran is "defending itself today against the aggression of the United States and Israel," adding that Tehran is "strong and stubborn in punishing aggressors" within the framework of this defense.
