Minister of Social Affairs, Haneen Al-Sayed, called on the displaced people on the roads to head towards the Sports City, stressing that means of transportation are secure. During a tour of the Sports City, she appealed to those in the Biel to go to the site, considering that the objections were based on “the absence of real information,” and that the place was better for them and their children. She pointed out that the Lebanese Army is guarding the sports city, which provides an element of reassurance, pointing out the availability of basic services such as food, medicine, and bathrooms.
