Prime Minister Nawaf Salam wrote on the “X” platform: “On Labor Day, I address every male and female worker in Lebanon, to those who get up every morning despite anxiety and distress, and continue to work under harsh conditions that our country has never known before.” He added: "I realize the extent of the suffering that many of you are experiencing, from job loss, a decline in purchasing power, and daily pressure that burdens you. From a position of responsibility, I assure you that we will continue to work hard to improve your living conditions, restore every inch of our occupied land, complete the reform process, and advance the economy in a way that creates new job opportunities, restores stability, and puts the country on the path of true recovery."
