After sentencing members of Hezbollah... the Minister of Justice opens an investigation into pressure on the military court
According to information, the Minister of Justice, Adel Nassar, referred the civilian advisor at the military court, Abbas Juha, to judicial inspection, in order to verify information indicating that he was subjected to pressure that led to his approval of the ruling issued against three Hezbollah members, after complaints were received about this issue.
Al-Jadeed Channel information reported earlier today that the Permanent Military Court had finished hearing three people belonging to the party, who were found in possession of light and medium weapons of war, noting that the interrogation period for each of them did not exceed five minutes, and they were heard separately.
In the same context, information revealed that the government commissioner to the military court, Judge Claude Ghanem, will proceed to decide the ruling issued against the three members as soon as the file reaches him.
The information indicated that the Permanent Military Court decided to release them, and issued a ruling fining each of them an amount of one million and 900 thousand Lebanese pounds.
